4 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari and Chimp Trek

Your first day of the 3 days Murchison falls tour will start with a scheduled pick up by our safari team and then journey to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey roughly takes about 5 – 8 hours to the park as you slice through the raw country and hustle of urban life. You will have your first stop after Luweero, at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for both the White and Black Rhino tracking which is an optional activity. You will then later have a brief stop in Masindi town pick up some lunch and refreshments before heading for the Park. Upon arrival in the park, the real adventure is set to take off; starting with a casual drive through Murchison Falls National Park to the top of Murchison Falls for some landscape and wildlife viewing. Take as many pictures as you want of the top of Murchison Falls as this is an experience that is bound to stick with you. After this relaxing evening, check into the lodge as prior booked for the 3 days Murchison Falls tour; relax, stretch up a bit, and have some dinner with your friends or simply take a warm bath and watch the wilderness from the comfort of your balcony.

With the world’s largest population of Rothschild’s giraffes, expect a wildlife show quite like no other. Other animals to dot on include; Defassa water-buck, Patas monkeys and Chimpanzees. Return to your lodge for a quick lunch because the adventure isn’t over yet as Uganda’s most powerful waterfalls await. A boat cruise has already been arranged for you from Paraa to the base of Murchison Falls with some of the most breathtaking vistas on earth. After this day’s adventure, a quiet night at your lodge is in order.

On this third day of the 4 days Murchison Falls Chimpanzee safari, the adventure continues with a ferry crossing to Budongo forest. It is the perfect time to track Chimpanzees in the wild and also enjoy packed lunch in the bush. Spend about 30 minutes to 4 hours tracking the Chimps and later after your adventure, return to the lodge to cool off, have dinner and a night’s rest.

The final day for this 4 days Murchison Falls Chimpanzee safari has come. Take time to enjoy this last meal at your lodge amidst the African wilderness before you are whisked away on a drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport with some lunch enroute.
