Birdwatching: With over 1,080 recorded bird species, Uganda is a true birdwatcher’s paradise. Specialized birding excursions are offered in most national parks and reserves. Key species sought after by birders include the prehistoric Shoebill stork, various raptors, turacos, bee-eaters, and a vast array of wetland and forest species.
