- Lightweight, breathable shirts and trousers
- Long-sleeved shirts for sun and mosquito protection
- Warm layers for chilly mornings and evenings (fleece or jacket)
- Neutral colors (khaki, olive, beige) for game drives
- Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
- Sandals or flip-flops for camp
- Wide-brimmed hat or cap
- Sunglasses with UV protection
- Swimwear (if your lodge has a pool)
Safari Gear
- Binoculars
- Camera with extra batteries and memory cards
- Flashlight or headlamp
- Travel adapter (Kenya uses UK-style Type G plugs)
- Power bank
- Daypack for excursions
Health & Hygiene
- Personal medications and copies of prescriptions
- First aid kit (band-aids, antiseptic, antihistamines, etc.)
- Malaria medication
- Insect repellent
- Sunscreen (SPF 30+)
- Lip balm with SPF
- Hand sanitizer and wet wipes
- Water purification tablets or reusable filtered bottle

- Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
- Visa (can apply online via eVisa)
- Yellow fever vaccination certificate (if required)
