You will also visit the Karambi tombs – the burial sight of three of Tooro kingdom’s famous kings.

Finally, you will may have an optional visit to the fabled ‘Amabere ga nyina mwiru’ – a remarkable cultural site comprising of limestone caves concealing the fascinating features of a woman’s breasts dripping a whitish-milky substance. A traditional Tooro legend has it that the breast-like features (amabere) are Nyinamwiru’s breasts.

You will arrive at Kibale National Park in the late evening, and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest – guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary

Your second day of the 3 days Kibale National Park chimpanzee trekking tour will begin with an early breakfast before heading out to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a briefing from the park authorities after which you will be allocated a chimp community to track.

You will retire to your lodge in the late evening for dinner and overnight. This will mark the end of your second day in Kibale National Park Uganda Safari.

Day 3Visit the Ndali – Kasenda crater lakes region – return to Kampala

On the last of your 3 days Kibale National Park safari, you will have an early breakfast and then head out to Ndali – Kasenda crater lakes region. The region is a mass of lakes formed from ancient volcanic activity dating back to over 1000 years.

The region offers you a scenic view of the rolling hills, the rugged landscape and thick greenery covering the surrounding areas. It is not advisable to swim in the lakes however, because they have green toxic water and they give off a sulphuric smell.

You then set off for Kampala, on tour way you will enjoy a serene drive back to your desired destination in Kampala or to Entebbe airport if you have a flight to catch. This will mark the end of your 3 days Kibale National Park chimpanzee trekking tour.
