3 Hours Before Flight Time
Today is the start of the amazing 7 days Murchison Falls, Kidepo Valley and Chimps trekking wildlife safari as you set off from Kampala to the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. It is the only place in Uganda where you can find Rhinos; both black and white. Apart from Rhinos, enjoy some birdlife and other animals like Warthogs before checking into your lodge for a night’s rest.
Wake up to a tasty breakfast as you head to Murchison Falls National Park through a background of tea estates. Upon your arrival, head straight for the top of Murchison Falls for some landscape viewing. The smashing River Nile waters against rocks create a distinctive display of the rainbow colors perfect for nature photography.

The clear waters of the Nile are flowing swiftly as you exit your lodge for an early morning wildlife adventure on this third day of the 7 days Murchison Falls, Kidepo Valley and Chimps trekking wildlife safari. Within the Nyamsika gorge, catch animals leaving their nests in the morning to look for food and get ready for the day. Your guide might be able to show you some fresh animal tracks.
After your game drive, head back to your lodge for lunch before its time for an afternoon boat cruise. The River bank in Paraa is a paradise for hippos, Crocodiles, Kudu and many other animals. Indulge in a swift voyage to the base of Murchison Falls where you will need to take some pictures and finally head back to your hotel for dinner and a night’s rest.
On this fourth day of the 7 days Murchison Falls, Kidepo Valley and Chimps trekking wildlife safari, the adventure continues with a transfer to Budongo forest. It is the perfect time to track Chimpanzees in the wild and also enjoy packed lunch in the bush. Spend about 30 minutes to 4 hours tracking the Chimps and later after your adventure, return to the lodge to cool off, have dinner and a night’s rest.
The gate-away continues to the “wild west” of Uganda, Kidepo National Park, for the fifth day of the 7 days Murchison Falls, Kidepo Valley and Chimps trekking wildlife safari. The drive often lasts about 5 -6 hours as you approach the semi arid plains of northern Uganda. Check into your lodge after a light evening game drive in the park.
Where Kidepo National Park lacks in size, it completely makes up for in wildlife. A morning game drive with the dew still atop the golden savannah blades is what you will look forward to for the sixth day of the 7 days Murchison Falls, Kidepo Valley and Chimps trekking wildlife safari. After lunch, experience a cultural tour among the local karimojong society.
As all things must come to an end, so have the 7 days Murchison Falls, Kidepo Valley and Chimps trekking wildlife safari. After a heavy breakfast, board your vehicle for a drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. Since the drive might be a bit long, you will stop within a designated town to have your lunch.
