Albert Track follows the shoreline of the Albert Nile as it flows north, and is consistently cited by guides as the most visually striking of the park's game routes — open water on one side, acacia forest patches on the other, and reliable sightings of animals coming to the river to drink or swim. It's also a strong stretch for leopard sightings, with dense acacia cover along parts of the route giving the park's more elusive predators somewhere to rest out of the open.
The tall acacia stands near the track's junction with Queen's Track are particularly good for woodland bird species — black-billed barbet and several bee-eater species (swallow-tailed, northern carmine, blue-breasted, red-throated) are regularly recorded here, alongside cattle egrets and oxpeckers following the buffalo herds.
